General
You cycle on this route through the characteristic polders and along the remains of creeks. Between Hulst and Clinge you cycle through a dense pine wood. You cross clay and sandy ground.
Nice to know:
Nieuw-Namen was previously called Hulsterloo. The village lies on ‘old’ ground. This hill consists of sand, shell grit and iron ore deposits, that were laid down more than 2,5million years ago.
