Cycle route
General
This country wide cycle route (LF-1) goes from Sluis to Den Helder. In Zeeland you go along and through dunes, water, historical towns and through the characteristic open landscape. You also pass various dams and water barriers which are part of the Deltaplan on this route. You will be amazed at the world famous hydraulic works.
Nice to know:
In the Netherlands the wind usually comes from a south westerly direction. So begin in Sluis and cycle with the wind in your back.
