In this beautiful varied cycle route, dunes, dikes, woods, water and polders alternate from one to the other. On the route you will see different touristic villages like Scharendijke, Renesse and Burgh-Haamstede.
Nice to know:
The Brouwersdam is part of the deltaworks. With the completion of the dam the Grevelingen was cut of from the sea. Thus 3000 hectare of new land was created. A number of sandbanks permanently fell dry. Along the edge of the lake water growth and mud flats fell dry. The Grevelingen is now a loved place for divers. In Scharendijke you will find various diving schools.
