De Punt is a nature and recreation area of 150 hectares from De Grevelingemeer. After is was closed off from the Grevelingen in 1971 by the Brouwersdam, the tides disappeared and a new dune area with small lakes appeared. In 1974 a wood was planted from where you can visit an observation cabin and look over De Preekhilpolder. In this area there are many birds and plants.
