Hoedekenskerke is a welcoming country village on the Western Scheldt. The dock for the ferryboat to Terneuzen is in the former ferry harbour. The old ferry harbour is gradually silting up. Only small yachts and anglers' boats put in at the dock nowadays. You can enjoy the beautiful view over the Western Scheldt from the terrace of the old harbour café.
