this lovely village lies east of Goes . At its centre is a Gothic church. The 'Geertekerk' breathes the atmosphere of times long gone. Kloetinge was once an agricultural community. Evidence of this can still be seen at the watering place for cattle in the Markt, the market square. In Zeeland, such a watering place is called a 'Vaete' or a 'Paerdevaete'. Kloetinge is also home to an original flourmill. If the windmill is flying a blue banner outside, you can stop by for a visit.
