Sun-lover? You’ve come to the right place. Zeeland averages 140 sunshine hours more per year than the rest of the Netherlands! Love the sun and flowers? Tholen in the summer is the place to be! From May to October, the flower fields undergo a complete transformation. Their colors are overwhelming in contrast to the green and yellow of other crops, a source of inspiration for artists and photographers. And, they make a hike or a bike tour all the more scenic! The flowers in the Tholen polders are at their most beautiful in June and July.
