Wild and flat oysters
Oysters, how Zeeuws will you be. Fresh from the pure water of the Oosterschelde, sorted with care, and packed in a lovely basket, a piece of seaweed on top to keep them moist. Through a special cultivation method these Zeeuws oysters are top quality.
There are two types available; The Zeeuwse wild oyster or creuse as it’s sometimes called, and the Zeeuwse Flat oyster. The oysters can be eaten raw or grilled, The Zeeuwse flat oysters have a natural fine taste that it is a shame to grill them; the flat oysters are usual eaten raw, served cool with a little pepper &salt, and a squeeze of lemon juice. They are a true delicacy.
