At Hildernisse eten & drinken, we enjoy surprising you with new flavours and interesting combinations. Our menu changes with the seasons, sourcing the finest local specialties.

Of course, we serve oysters and Zeeland mussels. When in season, the Oosterschelde lobster is on the menu. And Hildernisse serves its fish dishes with vegetables from Zeeland soil, such as samphire and sea lavender. Or how about a juicy rib-eye, served with a sauce of Zeeland beer?

Our lunch menu also reflects our philosophy: smaller and larger dishes, always changing, always worth discovering. Lovers of good wine and (specialty) beer will feel at home in Hildernisse – we regularly find new gems. Great with your dinner of lunch, but also for a drinks party or tasting.

The restaurant is tastefully decorated and offers space and relaxation, perfect for an intimate dinner for two but just as suitable for groups. A corporate gettogether, reception, tasting or birthday? Hildernisse seats 90, with a separate conservatory for larger groups. There is wifi and wheelchair accessibility. And from spring till late summer, we welcome you on our lovely terrace on atmospheric Plein 1940.
