This part of Zeeland is full of contrasts. The culture and tradition in the historic towns is complimented by the exuberance of the sea, and beach activities on the coast. In the bustling harbours you can experience the region´s rich maritime history as it merges with today’s super-modern way of life. Using The Cycle Network, you can easily explore the region’s dikes, country lanes and cycle paths where you’ll discover polders, impressive trees, old pollard-willows and hidden streams.
