Behind the wide dunes and the high dikes you’ll find quaint villages like Dreischor. Dreischor is one of the best-preserved traditional circular villages or ringdorpen in Zeeland. If you're in the area, then make sure you visit De Kleine Schorre as well. This is one of the country´s largest vineyards.

You’ll find shopping and pavement cafés in the city of Zierikzee, where history to almost brought to life by its many historical buildings, monuments and museums. Then there are the traditional fishing towns like Bruinisse or lively seaside resorts like Burgh-Haamstede and Renesse which are great for taking a stroll, eating out, exploring, relaxing and having fun. The port of Brouwershaven, once a transit port for Rotterdam, is now a hub for sailing enthusiasts. Come and have a look and learn about the region´s maritime history at Brouws Museum whilst you´re here. Westenschouwen is a small village with a location just behind the dunes that borders the largest forest in Zeeland, Boswachterij Westerschouwen.
